what you'll need:
-wide elasticband for your waist
-tule
-organza
i used green and pinkish-purple organza and blue tule. i also used black elastic band stuff.
basically what you do is cut out long pieces of fabric, in the length that you would want your skirt. i'm sorta sloppy, so i used all different lenghts. on some pieces i made a point or whatever, just cut each piece differently (looks really cute!)
i tried to make a picture so you can see what i mean by cutting the fabric in different ways:
once you've got all your fabric cut out it's pretty simpel. take a piece of fabric, fold it and attach it to the elastic band with pins and then another piece in another colour.. and so on.
remember: the more fabric you use, the more "layers" you get and the more fluffy it is!
after that all you have to do is sew everything together.
measure up your waist and see what size you need to make it and..
voilà! you've got a faerie skirt:)
(in the end it took me about an hour to make!)
i hope you guys could kinda understand what i mean..
(my english is getting pretty sucky, í've been in europe too long!)
