"Of course he wasn't interested in me, I thought angrily, my eyes stinging - a delayed
reaction to the onions. I wasn't interesting. And he was. Interesting… and brilliant… and
mysterious… and perfect… and beautiful… and possibly able to lift full-sized vans with
one hand."

I'm reading Twilight again.  What can I say...I like my vampire shoujo ( Read more... )

Hahahah.

If you get seats near the front, I recommend making funny faces at the actors when they have to stay still.

I don't know if you'll recall, but I was talking about it in earlier entries several weeks ago. They let Kristen and Tom go. :(

I totally missed that... was that when we didn't have internets?

DAMN. Have you heard from her at all? Don't know that I knew Tom...

...actually it was the last few things you responded to in my lj. We didn't know yet who was getting axed, but we knew it was happening. They both took it really well. Kristen's decided to cut her kids a break. She's not going to start looking for a new job until after the new year. Tom I don't know about it. He didn't say anything until the day he left. Kristen told me a few days before she left, but they were only told on Tuesday that Friday would be their last day... We were all really sad, but Kristen really kept it together, even when she left. I miss her. :(

1) Oh Twilight, my crack of choice. I have no great love for the series (I hate the "writing", hate the characters (Bella = douchewaffle), wish there was something resembling a plot, etc. etc.), BUT am looking forward to Midnight Sun. I read the free download from Smeyer's site, and was pleasantly surprised! Edward is really, really awesome, because-- dude-- he's plotting Bella's death for most of the first book!!!
Also, the writing is better, so either Smeyer's had practice, or Bella's thoughts suck very hard.

2) Spamalot is amazing. You will not be disappointed!!

LOL...I love your perspective on things. ;)

Midnight Sun is much, much better written. I get a kick out of how that and Twilight sync. And even if the series isn't great, the one-liners usually are.

Volvo Pretzel anyone...? ;)

...And I'm sooooooooo excited for Spamalot. I've wanted to go see for...well...years. We first saw adds for it three years ago when we saw Wicked. I'm glad to hear further testimonials that it is worth the wait! ;)

Just looked at the Wiki article, which has:

She stated, "If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story.

...But it would be so much more awesome!
