My mother wants to see it but she grew up on Speed Racer and loves geeky things like that.

Im a person who was not a fan of the Matrix..so I dont have an opinion...

YES. It looked pretty way back when all we had were pictures of the car (I've seen the car in person and it is nice), but now it looks godawful and not like Speed Racer at all. I am so frustrated.
