That is horrible and completely ridiculous and I can't believe THEY would decide your LIFE PLAN like that in the first place. And then not even tell you. Or even give you any options! WTF?! That's completely bogus! I am outraged on your behalf. That just really sucks. :/

Well it's kind of standard procedure, that if you don't finish all your credits, if you have four or less left you can walk at graduation but have to finish them ASAP. So it makes perfect sense, it's just ridiculously lame that they didn't let me know that they'd already decided this, and that I wouldn't have known at ALL had I not asked about graduation in an email to my advisor. It's pretty much the lamest. But! I walked at graduation today and we've been celebrating, so I'm trying to not be upset about the stupid summer class!

I can, but my parents want me to go to an actual class because they think I spend too much time online and want me to interact with real people. I'd prefer an online course, but whatever. They're paying.

Yeah, it's really not THAT big of a deal in the long run, it's mostly just terrible because of the SURPRISE, YOU'RE NOT DONE WITH COLLEGE factor. I was so excited to be DONE. BOOOO.

Especially since shooting off an email that says "you're two credits short, so you can walk at graduation but you need to take a summer course" would have taken literally ten seconds.

I don't think I'd go that far, because they're really nice people, and I've had both of them as professors and they're awesome; I think that it was mostly just a lapse in communication somewhere along the line, and in the long run it's really not a big deal, I just hate that they knew about this ALL SEMESTER, and that it got sprung on me RIGHT when I thought it was okay to relax. And that was probably the longest sentence ever. Haha. But yes! Thank you *HUGS IN RETURN* Hopefully I can find a suitable class on something interesting so I won't feel like killing myself.
