Whatever shred, whatever scrap, whatever iota of respect I had for religion is now 100% gone. Well, I never had much, but charity work counts for something, right? However, I just got the line. The line that makes any sane, normal and rational person drop their jaw, shrug their shoulders and cower in the face of overwhelming idiocy

What do you expect? Honestly? Was not Obama correct when he said what he did about rural America turning to such as religion to calm the pain? Ha. Ad maiorem Dei gloriam? Hardly. It can be difficult to deal with people who put a little bit too much faith in their invisible friends and don't use their old-fashioned brain power so much.
