People can ask... and depending on how much I like them I will either oblige, charge or refuse! ;)
That reminds me to note a few things down.
Cost: aprox. $16 including new melon baller and set of skewers... if the melon baller was $2.29 and I can't remember what the skewers were but we will say $2.50? then Cost= $11.50 ish All subject to melon avalibility and price per lb.
Time: Aprox. 2 hrs with distractions and think time. Could be streamlined to 45 min per bird if several were being done and pattern was pre established. (That obviously goes down again with help)
Tips: Cut the Kiwi thicker next time so the skewer can go clear through and not pop out. Visa-vis markers work well for patterning, will remember this for pumpkins! Speaking of pumpkins I wish I would have thought to find my pumpkin saws for this... that would have made some of the detail and curves a lot easier... Pretty much it... this one was fairly easy.
yep, 12 inch wooden BBQ skewers. It worked great on the grapes, but I was worried about running out of Kiwi and I cut them a little thin... you can see one that flipped around backwards and has skewer sticking out (2nd feather from the right middle eye.) Worked pretty well though... held the weight of the fruit... anchored well enough to withstand minor abuse as people bumped the table and stuff... The crest is anchored with toothpicks.

If you're not careful, people will start asking you to make those for parties.
