Thanks to your masterlist I discovered the backstories (which is pathetic but oh well) and read/am reading them in one go and decided to assure you off the fact that I'm insanely in love with your writing and the three of them when I'm finished.
But I have to comment on this one because:

All Julian knows about Greek mythology is from that Disney movie and Xena: Warrior Princess. While Ariadne will be the first to admit that the blue Hades from the cartoon is hilarious (also, 'I Won't Say I'm In Love' is a fantastic song) and Xena was pretty cool, that feels like a travesty.I laughed so hard because that's exactly the 'argument' I recently had with a friend. Well, I never watched Xena (she did), but Hades and 'I Won't Say I'm In Love'... Sounds oddly like me

That bit you quoted is in many ways inspired by a friend of mine who adores the real mythology, and also my own opinions of Hades, "I Won't Say I'm In Love", and Xena.

Also, there is no reason to apologize in advance for anything. I'm glad the backstories work, because Ariadne and Eames were not cooperative. Arthur was, but then, he usually is for me. :D
