Alright I need to say something. I hate labels. I don't like labeling people and I don't like people labeling me, especially people that don't even know me.

  I wear what I want, granted it may be the stereotypical gothic clothes but it's what I like.

  I listen to whatever music I want. I listen to almost anything. All types of Rock, Country, 80's

i agree though. labels are extremely stupid.

and i love "gothic is a time period" that's awesome and i agree! bout time someone realizes that! it's also a style of artitechture how can that be a group of people?!?!

i wish people would get that more often. They are afraid of everything slightly different from what they consider "normal". Normality is nonexistant. If we were all normal, we would be dead by now. We wouldn't have fire. Electricity. Anything. To label someone and think they do everything that their label suggests is stupid. I know for a fact (and as you stated) not all goths listen to one kind of music, do drugs, hate everyone in the world, have sex with animals, is a demon-worshiper, or wants to commit suicide every five minutes. But humans believe what they want to believe and probably always will, because we are too afraid of change, of unknowns, and want to stay in their little protective bubble that sheilds them from the "weird ones"...anyway, sorry this is so long, and i don't even know you, but oh well...I'm Yoga by the way (seriously)
