Sorry for the lack of updates lately! I do have a good-sized batch of LOTR icons that I've been meaning to post, but a few of those are in icontests right now, so I'm waiting for those to end so I can post all those icons together in one post ( Read more... )

umm where do you find "blend mode" and opacity settings?

If you're using PSP, go to View-->Palettes-->Layers, and the Layers Palette should show up.
The column on the right shows a number, which is the opacity. There's also a drop-down menu which says "Normal" by default; you can select different blend modes from that.
Another way is to double-click on the name of the layer on the Layers Palette (Raster 1, Background, etc). Blend modes and opacities are under the "General" tab.

Thanx :) I like using pinks, blues, certain greens, purples, and red, if I'm a good mood. But colors like orange and brown make me want to throw up :*

Lol. :D I'm not much of an orange fan myself, but I do like using some browns. More lively colors like the ones you use are great as well.
It all depends on what you do with them, I think. :)
