Summary: Amy finds herself in a local pub trying to "gather information" like the doctor told her to.
Notes: Omg... im so nervous, this is my first attempt to write something ever. Just want to point two things: Im sure i have a lot of gramatical errors, bare with me as english is not my native language, i'll try to improve :). Second, i find it really hard to write, every time i've tried i end up erasing the whole thing and im not talking about writing in english i've tried writing in my own language and just dont like the results lol. Ok, now that you've been warned..
"Just stay here, ok?", the doctor said to Amy as he tried to leave the place but she took his arm. "Don't leave me here, doctor" she opened her eyes wide, every time the doctor left her alone somehow she managed to get in a lot of troubles. "You'll be fine, this is a nice place, see?", Amy looked around then the doctor said something else as he started to walk away. "Why dont you go and talk with some people, gather information", he winked then he left the place. "Of course! I'll be fine, dont worry about me!" she tried to yell at the doctor but he was already gone.
Amy glanced around, it seemed like a quite place. She remembered then the name of the place "Merlotte's", a local pub. She saw an old man looking at her with a big smile and she frowned disgusted, but then something took her attention.
"You look like you've never been in a pub", Amy turned around and saw a girl with red hair probably about her age or even younger, she stared right at Amy with a smile. "No, of course i've been in a pub before. Its just that i came here with a friend and he just left me... here..", she stopped and thought that she could follow the doctor's advice, "Nevermind. Im Amy".
"Jessica", the girl said and invited her to take a sit. A waitress arrived, "i'll have... a... glass of water please", Amy said while Jessica asked for something called "True Blood" then said "A positive, please". "True Blood? I've never heard of that one before" she said and looked at Jessica who seemed quite amused. Probably wasnt a good idea to look so clueless, it was another dimension after all and she'd heard crazier names for beverages before. "Well, that would be synthetic blood... 'cause im a vampire... you do know about vampires right?", she said joking but with some curiosity in her eyes. Amy heard the word -vampire- "Oh, no way" that took her completely by surprise, could she be joking? She looked at Jessica who was still waiting for an answer "oh yeah of course, just wanted to be sure... you never know right?". She stared a bit nervous, it didnt look like she was kidding. "Oh doctor, great idea leaving me in a pub with vampires", she tought then smiled at Jessica.
