This is ugly and compelling and I really enjoyed it. Hope you write more.

Thanks a lot :) I did initially plan to write a follow up to this, but now I'm not so sure. I'm really undecided on what direction to take it in, so I may just leave it for a while. I'm constantly writing stuff, but I never have the nerve to post most of it.

Wow, just wow! That was so sad and hot and a dozen other things all at the same time. I hope to read more of your work soon :)

Thanks! :) I am currently attempting to write a follow up, so hopefully that won't take too long.

Depressing but just right, even if it was all dirty and "forced". A million thumbs up.

What I really liked about this was the way there's such a feeling of thier history. You feel the weight of years of closeness. I think that weight is what's missing from a lot of RPS that might be hot, but not really ring true. The way they are pulled towards each other as they keep trying to pull apart is just a lovely, angsty torment.

I feel for you on the RPS front. I don't normally even feel drawn to RPS but there's something about these guys and the way they are so tied up with their characters. We're all lured in eventually.

Wow, thank you so much!

I was actually talking about this with someone the other day, and as you basically said their fictional characters are in essence an over the top version of themselves, so it's just too easy to slip from Howard and Vince to Julian and Noel. And, of course, their obvious chemistry whenever you see them together. I'm sure that really they are just very good friends, but the love between them is so tangible.

Again, thank you for your lovely comment :)
