"How can you look at me like you haven't seen me every day for the last 13 years?"

John and I watched The Family Man (Nicholas Cage, Tea Leoni) last night after our trip to Outback. We picked it up at Circuit City along with some other movie John wanted (2 for $10!). I love that movie, I forgot how much I love that movie. I hope we can actually make it a Christmas tradition to watch it, as it is a bit of a Christmas movie. ( Read more... )

Everybody raves about Love Actually to me. I think my brother built it up so high that it couldn't do anything but disappoint me. I thought it was okay ... but just okay.

I would like to see the family man again, maybe I'll try to rent it this weekend.

We watch White Christmas and A Christmas Story every year.

I loove it. My mom and I saw it together in the theaters (which was a bit awkward at certain points, lol). I hadn't really heard any reviews beforehand, though. I can see how it being built up too much would definitely kind of ruin it. It's not a typical movie. Some story lines bored or annoyed the crap out of me, and others I loved. Thankfully, the ones I loved were the ones that got the most screen time anyway (I'm so cliche). :D

I don't know, but I enjoy it while she does it, that's for sure. She goes down for her nap and bedtime without a problem at all - sometimes she's waving at us and rushing us out the door, practically. LOL. Who knows what will change with the next one, though!

In order to counteract boredom on weekends (when we are home all day), I have different tubs with different toys/activities that I rotate when things start to get boring. When he sees "new" stuff all lined up and ready to go, he forgets that he was getting bored.
