I love that Jaden calls his dad a "dork." LOL, I never would've thought to do that when I was a kid.

And the physical playfulness seems very very in character to me. It's SO EASY to imagine David being that way with his son, and the fact he can't stop smiling as he watches Jaden is so cute and warm.

David can't remember Christmases before Jaden's birth. And he wonders what people with no children do at this time of year because, really, there's nothing like Christmas through a child's eyes.

I swear, nobody ends a story like you. And that's a compliment. You manage to punch me in the gut with SOME emotion that just bowls me over. And while I was smiling so hard it hurt through this, I still managed to have to sniffle at the end there.
