As she slowly woke up in her lover’s arms, she vowed that no matter what happened this time around she’d make things work out. Instead of running away, Tara decided that she’d stay and help Willow. She promised that she’d help instead of turning her back on her girl when she needed her like a coward. Willow murmured something in her sleep as she snuggled closer to Tara causing the blonde to sigh in contentment. She closed her eyes as she started to fall asleep again, there’d be time later in the morning to make promises but right now she just wanted to be with her girl.

“I know I did, but he wasn’t the one for you,” Darla explained as she ran her hand along Drusilla’s naked spine.
“He was supposed to be mine.”
“I know but he was hardly worthy, now quit pouting.”
“No.”
“Fine then,” Darla coldly replied as she slid out of the silk sheets, her generous mood ruined, “Find someone else, but do be careful since you know how jealous Spike gets.”
“Grandmother,” Drusilla began.
“Don’t call me that, Drusilla. I am only trying to help you but you seem determined to be rash. So go ahead, do what you want but don’t come crying to me when Spike stakes your new play toy.”
