Hmm? A lot of it really is just because our schools have hated each other for years. Much longer than before either of us even started going to the schools. But I suppose it also has to do with the fact that he's just really obnoxious and stupid on top of it.

Don't start, Masato. I've heard more than enough of that from Papa. I am drinking liquids and keeping off my feet today. But I cannot continue to just sit idly by while the rest of you train. I'll be perfectly fine again after today. Stop worrying. I'm having to put up with far too much of that from Takuma-kun alone, as it is. His hovering is getting on my last nerve and I'm going to hit him if he doesn't stop it.
Perhaps...I am letting him get to me far too much. To the point that I ignore my own dislikes just to prove him wrong. But I can't help being proud. This rivalry is older than we are. And as our team's buchou, it falls on my shoulders to take up any challenge against them and prove that we are the better team. Even if it may be incredibly foolish.

I understand that you were worried over me, but everything turned out alright. I'll be sure keep a better eye on how I'm feeling during a match after this.
I will...keep that in mind from now on. It really was a foolish thing for me to agree to, but I felt it would've made us look like cowards if I did not. But if you have no objections, then I will learn to better chose which fights I wish to take on in the future.
