This is the second installment in my Nagoya JUMPing CARnival experience, and to avoid redundancy, I'm not going to rehash the things that were the same as the concert on the night of the 18th. If you're interested in a more full and fleshed out account of the concert, please check out
this report, which is the one for the 18th.
With no further ado, on to the report!
My group of friends split up to two and two this time, so I sort of have an idea of what happened on the opposite side as well, but I was on the house-left side about halfway down, pretty close to the side stage/center stage.
Again, sorry for the crappy photo; I was trying to be stealthy. We had a pretty decent view of both the main and back stage, being about smack in the middle of the arena, and a great view of the center stage. They were really good seats, and only four rows back!
Things generally felt a little more energetic and less tired and lagging than the other day, both in their movements and demeanor; they seemed less easily upset or put off their rhythm. They also seemed more comfortable in the space after doing one show already, so the whole atmosphere was lighter and happier, to me. I was glad that maybe part of it was just nervousness and unease from performing in a new space, and not that they were completely worn to the bone by 24 Hour TV promotions.
The opening numbers were the same; during Kamona, Chinen cutely poked Yamada's cheek, and Keito and Yuto almost kissed on the mouth |D;;; Inochan wasn't late for JUMPing CAR like he was in the previous show, but as they were going down the catwalk, Daiki's wheel fell off his stick. XD; Daiki kept dancing, but Yuto ran and picked it up for him at the end.
During Super Delicate, Inoo was the odd one out again, but this time, rather than sad, he yelled angrily about it XD He tried to butt in again with Yuto and Yamada, and danced dramatically behind them again when they kicked him out. |D;;
This time, I was much closer to the center stage to watch Pet Shop Love Motion *___* Watching Inoo's little butt wiggles from up close was so cute, ahhh. During part of the dance, Yuto tried to shove his carrot into Inoo's fish's mouth… awkward. |D;;; Today, Inoo said that his fish was saba (
mackerel) cooked in vinegar XD;
The BEST corner was amusing again, but mostly the same; Hikaru's voice was cracking more out of his "adventurer" deep voice. |D;;; He also asked Inoo to make a different dish than paella, but I forget now what it was… sorry x__x; Then, during Tada Mae E, for some reason, as soon as the members of 7 got close to one another, Yamada got the giggles and couldn't stop laughing. The staging was that the members stood in a circle on the center stage facing one another and looking into one another's eyes while singing, but this time they kept randomly getting closer and closer to one another and it made Yamada laugh |D;; Yamada laughing set off Chinen laughing, and he couldn't sing his line, either.
There wasn't much that was notable until the MC, which started with the topic of the dinner they had had the night before with the staff. For some reason, they had started asking the "over 100" staff members who their favourite member was… and over 80% of them replied that it was Inoo. XD; Inoo's response? "Maybe it's because I like men…" To which Yabu replied that that was a really half-assed coming-out XD;;; It was a beautiful moment… I got to see Inochan come out of the closet |D;; They then teased that while they were doing Rajira (Hikaru and Inoo's radio show), he must stare at Hikaru's mouth the whole time… Ahaha. Because they all ship Hikaru and Inoo as much as I do~ But Hikaru seemed jealous of the staff, and pointed out that all the people who liked Inoo were old men. XD;; They also said that none of the staff liked Takaki best, so that day Takaki had been greeting the staff really politely and energetically… |D;
The topic changed to 24 Hour TV, and they talked about how they were all nervous and there were only a few days left. It was mentioned that it might be hard to sleep the night before, and Inoo said that some people can never sleep before field trips, and stuff like that. XD Yabu insisted that they had to sleep, and they weren't allowed to cry… and then said that somehow, the conversation had become elementary school level |D;;
Takaki started talking about how recently Yuto had become really cool and was a really good actor after Yuto promoted Pink & Grey, but Hikaru added that Yuto walks around naked in the shower room / dressing room a lot |D;; This led to talk of how Daiki walked around in his underwear listening to his mp3 player which he kept inside his underwear… |D;;
At some point during the MC, Yamada was trying to talk about his upcoming movie, and some really annoying girl screamed his name. Just a note: it's really rude, and the guys really hate it when girls do this, so if you ever feel tempted to scream out their names at a quiet moment when they're singing, dancing, or talking, please don't. It's generally associated with immature fans (and it used to happen more when JUMP and their fanbase were both younger), so please don't be that person. If not out of respect for the fans around you trying to enjoy the show, please be quiet out of respect to the guys, who really hate being interrupted and screamed at during quiet moments like these. But anyway, some girl screamed Yamada's name when he was trying to talk, and Yamada snapped, "What the hell do you want?!" angrily in response. He said he was trying to talk and didn't understand why a fan would want to interrupt. The other member tried to laugh it off, saying it was the "doS" side of Yamada, but I'm glad that he called the fan out on it, because the guys deserve respect when they're working hard to put on a show for their fans.
After the MC, Keito came out with his guitar for Saisho no Tokei, but this time, he said it was time for a quiz game. XD; Question one was to the audience, and he asked "What pose did Daiki do in the intro video?" Then he showed the poses and had us say whether it was choice A, B, or C. When we got it right, he responded in English, "Well done." It was so cute. XD Then Yamada came onstage, and Keito said "question two" in really strange Japanese. Yamada repeated him, teasing him about his bad Japanese… poor Keito. |D;; He asked Yamada what BEST stood for, and Yamada was like who knows that?! He tried to sing score, but couldn't remember the lyrics… and then Keito was like "that's not even what it is, anyway…" XD; Keito told him in beautiful English that it was "Boys Excellent Selected Team" (though I think it's actually Boys Excellent Select Team? Keito was trying to make it make grammatical sense, ahaha) and Yamada asked the audience if anyone even knew that. Of course, we all did know that! As a punishment game, Keito made Yamada say Hikaru's spoken line from "Yes," the one that means "Let me know what you want me to do to you." Ahahaha.
Korosensations was still beautiful, but today Inochan was wearing a really, really low cut black T-shirt underneath his jacket, and you could see all his moles and everything. *__* It was equal parts "yes" and "oh god put some clothes on," ahahaha. And when they came back for Kira Kira Hikare, Inoo did his C&R again~ Then, during Chau#, Chinen said he line as "Inoo, who's like a pinball" rather than "feelings like pinballs" XD; Inoo replied his line as "Pop and happy Chinen," which was super cute, and thankfully his mic was on today!
Union was the same, and then during Yowamushi Shooter, Hikaru came over to the keyboard to see Inoo again, but Takaki kept standing between them |D;;; Also,
yomimashou would like me to let you know that Yabu played the guitar, but I was only watching Inoo, ahaha. Then, during Ultra Music Power, Hikaru made Keito do the rap this time, and he struggled. |D;;;
This time, during the encore, Yuto, Yabu, Yamada, Takaki, and Chinen were up in the carts, and Inoo, Daiki, Hikaru, and Keito were down. I noticed by the end, Yabu hadn't thrown any of his balls… |D;; I think he forgot that they were in his hand. But I got a report from my friends on the other side that the girls in front of them caught Daiki's ball! It was very exciting and they got to see it up close. Maybe one day I'll catch one… there's only about a 1/1000 chance of catching it, ahahahaha… sigh.
And that's all! The show was so much fun, I'm really looking forward to seeing it in Yokohama in October!
