I'm currently at amazon.com looking at a book that was published in paperback in 2002 with an original list price of $15. at this point, the only copies available are used.

for $231.

for a 7-year-old paperback.

I already did some checking around, and found nothing so far. I'm thinking inter-library loan. I don't have a burning need to own these books. I'm just curious to read the other short stories, and buying is sometimes the more handy option. There were over 50 stories written in all, so finding a place where they've all been gathered would be handy.

Good luck with ILL - might take some looking even there, doesn't look like many libraries picked it up.

this might turn into my lifelong abition/obsession, to get a hold of every story in the series by the original author in some form.

I'm not sure I'm really capable of being that obsessive, though. over a long period of time, that is. =) I can do it for short bursts, but then I move along to something else.
