As far as resurrections go, Severus' is rather uneventful. He gives a startled gasp and sits up all in one quick, tense motion, eyes opened, expression shocked.

And that's about it.

Regulus, to his credit, is very quiet and calm. He's sitting in a chair that he's magicked into the doorway, leaning forward with his hands clasped before him.

"Hello."

"Jesus--fuck--" startled swearing, Severus leans forward and presses the heel of his palm against the eye that had bled as he died, unpleasantly surprised and obviously suffering a sudden headache.

"What the hell are you doing in here?" he manages finally, voice strained.

Regulus waits a few moments. He's good at that - he's been waiting some hours, now.

He's still sitting, but when he speaks his tone belies the calm exterior. "No one was really worried, the first few days. That much is rather usual, isn't it? But then time kept going on and on without sight of you. The gifts arrived on Christmas of course, but nothing else.

"Today would have been the ninth day, I believe."
