I agree with you =D To my awareness, people nowadays take things such as electricity for granted and refuses to open their eyes to get a good view of nature. I guess that in the end, it's the simple things that brings out the best in us.
Oh yes I agree. Earth Hour was a reminder of such things.
Say... Since you've finished your story and started a new one, why don't you write a one based on a black out or something involving candles?
A romantic dinner was scuttled because of a black out and (scented) candles had to be used to create the atmosphere of a romantic dinner. More or less around there.
Wacky I know but the romanticism of using candles to light up our night couldn't get off my head.
