It is inevitable that his job scope requires him to meet people of various backgrounds in solving business-related crimes. Because of his looks, there are clients who try to take opportunities with him, be it subtle or not.
Jung Yunho is one of Korea’s criminal lawyers and was recently appointed to be the country’s public prosecutors. His success in nailing down various criminal cases had led to the country’s Attorney General to appoint him as a public prosecutor. His method of grilling suspects was so well known that criminal suspects cringe upon hearing his name and his success in delivering justice to victims were numerous.
Recently, the two lawyers got married in a wedding that was the talk of the law fraternity. No one suspected that the two of them were in a relationship for their dedication to work was so great that many wondered how they could get married, let alone be in a relationship.
There was something in Jaejoong that attracted Yunho’s eyes and heart. The first time he saw Jaejoong at Seoul’s High Court, after winning a murder case. Yunho was walking down the stairs as Jaejoong was heading up the stairs. He could not let his eyes off Jaejoong, who stared at him. The effect Jaejoong had on Yunho was so strong that he promptly lost balance, earning a smirk from Jaejoong. Since then, Yunho could not forget Jaejoong and was determined to get Jaejoong at all cost.
Jaejoong, too, couldn’t get his eyes off Yunho. He remembered the moment Yunho lost his balance as he walked down the stairs. Despite the smart dressing he had, there was something in him that Jaejoong found cute. Since that incident, he could not forget Yunho and was yearning to see him again.
Several months later, they met again at a charity fundraising dinner hosted by Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun. As fate decided, both of them sat at the same table facing each other. Their eye contact never wavered and when Jaejoong excused himself to the toilet, Yunho joined him. The tension was too strong to resist and they had their first kiss inside a toilet cubicle. After the end of the event, they retired at a hotel where they slept like a married couple. Soon after, Yunho proposed to Jaejoong, which received a prompt ‘Yes’.
Fast forward to the day Jaejoong left Yunho…
“Jaejoong, I wished you understood my situation. I have no choice in this matter. It’s not like I want to meet all these people and be fondled just like that. Please understand me, Jaejoong!” pleaded Yunho as Jaejoong struggled to get away from Yunho.
“And why should I? How can she touch you as if you’re her boyfriend when I’m your partner?!” screamed Jaejoong. Soon, he left the apartment, leaving a whimpering Yunho struggling to overcome the hurt Jaejoong inflicted upon him.

Yunho was the kind of person Jaejoong wanted. No words could describe him and on the night Jaejoong left, he had gotten sick and tired being treated as if he doesn’t exist. After they got married, Jaejoong had compromised with Yunho on various matters and was expecting Yunho to do the same. But due to work commitments as a public prosecutor, he couldn’t reduce the number of cases as the most senior public prosecutor was retiring. Instead of giving attention to Jaejoong, even the slightest bit, work was given higher priority than Jaejoong.
Tears streamed down Jaejoong’s cheeks as he walked away from the apartment they lived together for more than a year. He had enough and contemplated divorce but he didn’t have the heart to do so. Still in love with Yunho, he just couldn’t do it. He decided to move into a service apartment for several weeks as he ponder his future with Yunho and try to finish as many cases within the shortest possible time. Working as a lawyer was as punishing as it could be and it wasn’t sympathetic towards those with personal problems.

Several weeks later, the two lawyers faced each other in a case which involves fraud and murder. It was hard on them and had to maintain professionalism but the public prosecutor cracked when he saw Jaejoong in the court room, before the case had even started. The tough, no nonsense Jung Yunho cried and pleaded to Jaejoong to return to him in a most unprofessional manner, earning scandalised comments from members of the public. Judge Shim Changmin had to reprimand both of them and adjourn the case to another day as “the public prosecutor isn’t feeling well and needs more rest”.

Jaejoong accompanied Yunho back to their apartment and Yunho continued to plead Jaejoong to return to him. He wasn’t moved by the pleadings until Yunho threatened to commit suicide. The knife Yunho held almost touched his wrist until Jaejoong threw it aside.
Jaejoong looked at Yunho’s eyes and broke down to tears as he could not bear the thought of leaving him. He was still in love with him and wanted nothing more than a hug from him. A hug that could heal the wound he suffered. They made their peace over tears and Yunho agreed to compromise by reducing his work load and withdrawing from the case they were scheduled to appear in, just like Jaejoong did after they had gotten married.
