My sister has never used an ordinary pencil. She grew up with mechanical pencils, and the closest she's come to using a normal pencil is using her recently purchased eyeliner pencil.

Hence her question today, "Jie, how do I make this eyeliner pencil sharp again?"

Unfortunately few friends have it yet, so I'm trying out the public waves to get some use out of this thing. And reading The Complete Guide to Google Wave. And watching the Youtube videos that show the various nifty features, like this short one:

i was looking through my spam folder for legitimate emails today, and it looks like spammers are getting more politically aware. a couple of spam mail titles:

thanks to mag, i have modified my adium application, which is my msn chat client, to my heart's content. i now have a darth vader icon for the application, and it swishes its light sabre from side to side when i receive a message! i also have light sabre and R2D2 sounds for various events! :D

yesterday i discovered that the copy of adobe bridge that had been lying around in my computer because i installed photoshop cs 2 was actually useful for photography amateurs like me! i can now keyword my photos at the metadata level! this means i won't have to tag my photos twice when i upload them to flikr and zooomr; the two photo services ( Read more... )
