i may have lost a beautiful siver bracelet my mom gave me for my 22nd birthday. it's handmade by a maryland artist, so it's one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable. i've made some calls, tried to retrace my steps, but i fear that i've given an unexpected gift to some lucky snot in lorain county.

for real, sadness, truly -- I remember both of those items and know how much they meant to each of you. I lost the black fuzzy scarf that Rose (who I was so in love with) made as her first project after I taught her to knit. the one I made Tori drive to Valley View to get, I lost it again that winter. On the bus, I think. I'm still so sad about it.
