Musings on food & relocation

I don't use the old LJ much anymore. I still check it every day, though. I love the LJ community, but with limited blogging time, I have taken to Blogspot for my professional blogging home. It's so easy to add picture and links and stuff like that, but I hate that you don't have comment threads! I wish I could just combine the best parts of all ( Read more... )

Hey, awesome! If you come to Lancaster, you won't be too far away from me, and we could meet for yummy food every once in awhile. (I'm right outside Philly.)

Cool! Yes, I need to pay attention to who lives in Philly and the general eastern PA area now so when I move I can poke all of you to welcome me to the "neighborhood". =D

Where are you there? Did you tell me about this and I'm just out of it? (Quite likely. My organization skills are hilariously awful.)

I'm zheshiwoying.blogspot.com. I left you a comment at one point, I think... or at least I meant to... it was during your last "Hey I'm over here now" push for blogspot friends. You beckoned and I came.

I am so silly. I've even been there a few times. I think I thought I was already following. I'm just now finally getting the hang of the Blogspot friend thing...kind of.

LJ is definitely better for personal blogging. But for career blogging, Blogspot is definitely better...with being able to add pictures, stick contests and appearances in the sidebar as widgets, the easy hook-up with StatCounter, etc...plus I get more hits there.

I do feel sort of like I've "gone corporate" though. But my personal blogging already dropped off a lot after I sold a book. I started to feel so conflicted about what I should or could say. -_- And I feel like my life doesn;t have so many interesting tidbits as when I worked at the health food store...

But is Cultural Revolution as good as Greek yogurt? Hmm?

Good luck with the relocation search! Have fun with it! I would love to be able to pick and choose where to live, mmmm.

I do love Greek yogurt...it would be nice if Cultural Revolution CAME in a Greek style. Maybe it will eventually! I still think I prefer CR now, though, because of the lower sugar content and...oh, I do love cream top yogurt. They even have a low fat cream top, which I have NEVER seen in other yogurt companies.

But that Greek Gods orange cinnamon vanilla yogurt is probably still the tastiest yogurt I've ever encountered.

I hope you can find a place you really love :) Too bad CO is so far away, hehe.

I would hate Colorado anyway, honestly! Not the people, or the food, or the culture, of course, but I HATE dry air!
