It's been a while since I posted a chatty update about my life. Part of the reason is, I rarely do anything exciting besides think about the book release. But, this week I've been in the holiday spirit. We got a Christmas tree on Friday, which is the earliest I've ever gotten a Christmas tree. ooooh I would LOVE to get that DS Japanese learning game for my son. Do you have a link - where did he buy it? He's 2nd year in HS and I think it would be great for him to have a fun way to practice and stuff.

It's perfect for that! I wouldn't want to learn Japanese using ONLY this game, since the lessons don't go into as much detail as I'd need, but it's an *awesome* way to learn and reinforce vocabulary and learn the writing!

O, tannenbaum! I'm not thinking about the xmas yet. It's too soon (a thought I will have until the 3rd week of December. Ha!).

That DS "game" sounds amazing. Definitely go and learn more languages!! I'm going to have to tell my friend about this. She's a french teacher. Maybe she can suggest it to her students that are falling behind.

Yes, I tried to tell myself that I was saving myself from a fire while I cried over an ornament that broke while I was extracting the latest from the already decorated tree...

I'm with you, I don't have a lot of exciting things to say because I'm busy revising and obsessing about my release--and it's still four months away.

I can't wait until Christmas! I know what I'm getting--the only thing I asked for--Magic Under Glass!

Isn't it amazing how long we can obsess over something? Even in these final days until the book is released, time feels like it is just crawling...
