"Two Cathedrals" from The West Wing still gives me a visceral thrill when Bartlett yells at God in National Cathedral... in Latin. It's probably wrong that I think it's sexy.

Two Cathedrals is one of my absolute favorite episodes of all time... I've seen that episode a ridiculous number of times (I watch / fall asleep to episodes of the first three seasons whenever I can't fall asleep), this is what makes me cry *every time...*

"You know, if you don't want to run again, I respect that. But if you don't run 'cause you think it's gonna be too hard or you think you're gonna lose - well, God, Jed, I don't even want to know you."

And the rain and the door and *Charlie.*

It's so, amazingly good.

There's so much going on in that episode, but for me it's the Latin. Intelligence is the ultimate aphrodisiac.

I think the CM episodes you've listed are probably my favourites too - although I'd add LDSK because I watched the show from the beginning but that was the ep that made me think "I have to watch this show". I know a lot of fans moan about too many "Reid-centric" episodes, and while I do love all the cast, I think that the best eps are where they use Reid's character and backstory because, like it or not, he's a fascinating (and much darker than he seems on first appearance) character and a wonderful way to explore the darker themes that CM enjoys.

I did like "Two Cathedrals" when I watched it - I've been enjoying the West Wing so far (borrowed the DVDs from a friend) but I'm now stalled in Season 5 and losing interest.

LDSK is wonderful. I love it for the Hotch as much as the Reid.
