its really not a crafty set up, i have the set up like i do for a big SF con, mostly jewelry. i do have yarn, but its mostly "ready to wear".
i MIGHT have done better with beads.. but i doubt it. sales seem to be poor for everyone not selling wings or costumes, and some of the costume folks as well. i haven't spoken to the art/book dealers so i don't know about their sales.
I'd heard that there was enough competition that even the wings dealers weren't doing well--the only happy dealer I heard about was also the only dealer selling horns.
Tom (Brute Force leather) was the main corset dealer and had leather wings and such, and he did well...... the lady across from me said she did ok, she had bath stuff and pictures... as far as i know most of the book/painting dealers did in ranges from "ok" to "not bad" but everyone else? it seemed like a lot of competition for the dollar.
as for me, apparently i guessed wrong on the merchandise. i should have taken more beads
That pretty much matches what's happening at my booth. The crowd wasn't large--certainly not large enough to justify a huge, excellent dealer's room, and it wasn't free-spending.

oh the dealers room was / is fantastic. one of the best i have seen in fact. the "programming" is a bit on the light side, although it seems to be very high quality
