the next time you see that teacher, explain that you were having difficulty reaching her by email and google brought the phone number up immediately. that is NOT your fault at all, its google's horrible breach of privacy terms.

Actually, I doubt it's google's fault either. I've seen plenty of cases where an "unlisted" number is online simply because the person in question posted it to a listserve or on facebook or something dumb like that.
Same drill with asshole guard as with any cop. Name? Badge number? Supervisor's name? Thankyouverymuch. And then report him -- politely, firmly, and in writing.
Prof? Do a screen capture of the google listing and put it into an e-mail to her school account. This is how I got your unlisted phone number, dear Prof. (Having been unlisted as long as I have, and seeing where peoplefinder has me cross-referenced (wrongly), I'd be unhappy too.)
