However, to be specific: Soften 1 stick of butter (salted or unsalted, as suits you; unsalted makes a sweeter tasting mix). In a bowl, mix the butter with about 1/4 cup of your preferred flavor of honey. Use either a fork or an electric beater to combine the ingredients until smooth. Spread on fresh bread, biscuits, muffins, etc. You can use more or less honey according to your taste. Bear in mind that using too much honey will result in a very soft paste that may be runny on warm breads.
you just mix honey (i like RAW honey but any kind) and butter together (people get all worked up over salted and unsalted) i like about 2 parts butter to 1 part honey , but your milage may vary mix well slather on bread
