On my phone, so can't really access YouTube, but HSBC did a series of '"the world's local bank" - we understand cultural differences' type ones - e.g. British man goes on business trip to the Middle East. Clears his plate of eel because leaving food is generally perceived as an insult* over here. They give him a bigger eel - over there, it's perceived as a pointed way of stating that one hasn't been fed enough. He manages to eat that too. A group of people come in wrestling a massive one..!
*On a 5-day school trip when I was 9 or 10 our teacher actually made the announcement to our class that we were really upsetting the hotel staff by not eating our salads... I'd genuinely thought it was a garnish, LOL!
I'm a little confused. Do you need a video shown on US TV that is marketed at another demographic that the traditional straight white male one? I'd look at the bond/cash now company commercials that are aimed at blacks and hispanics. Logo TV has a bunch of commercials that are aimed at gays. If you watch soccer on ESPN, a bunch of those commercials are aimed at Hispanics.
what i need is a commercial, that i can show in class, that is aimed at, or shows a different culture. period. teacher suggested commercials that are aimed at the Hispanic market as being easier to get, i want to get something a bit more far flung
