It was a pleasure buying from you at Anime Boston. I bought the dragon ring and the element pin that had dream in the middle. My sister tried on one of your corsets.
We'd love it if you could make it out to NYC to NY Anime Fest. NYC's goth and lolita scene can definitely use a tip or two for proper corset fitting.
Not sure if you're interested in trekking to Baltimore, but the other huge Anime Convention is Otakon, which we're planning on going as well. It's also coming up in July, so it might be too close to plan.
thanks for the links!fabricdragonMay 26 2009, 14:09:45 UTC
i remember you :-)
take good care of the pin, i was very fond of teh design......
i will look into it, as you must have noticed, i have no problem talking to people and fitting corsets lol.... my fingers just get stiff after a full day of pulling laces..
and as to Baltimore. i do (on average) one show a month in Maryland, so its no big deal, i live in Philadelphia.
also? i got into Anime Boston on three weeks notice, so i can handle last minute, the BIG question is how close is it to Pennsic, which i am committed to.
I did a booth for many years at SCA events, the profits kept out household in food and event costs even for our budget. Things wer kinda rough back then when Thoron was unemployed during the oil depression of teh late 80's.
thanks... it sets up a bit faster than the old set up. the beads are the time consuming part.. sigh. nothing to do about that, thank heavens Guendalina was there to help.
and yes, i bet! My SCA booth looks a bit different, of course.. but i am trying to cut the set up time down.
