Anime Boston

Anime Boston 2009 just had a table open up (i was on the wait list) so it looks like i will be vending there.
May 22-24th.  probably corsets and jewelry.

i have never been to this venue or this event. do any of you plan to go? any of you have any info? anything i should know about?

I went four years ago, not as a dealer. The dealers were in their own separate building. Registration offered attendees the chance to purchase "dealers area only" tickets, if one wasn't going to attend the rest of the con. I got one of those passes, since I was there to network.

I don't know whether they still do that, or if they charge full-con attendees an additional fee just to get into the dealer's area.

Wish I could be of more help. If I go, I will finally get a chance to meet you.

The one thing I do know is that it's CROWDED. I am used to convention attendance in the hundreds, and this is traditionally in the THOUSANDS.

thousands is good... it means that if even a small percentage buy something i have a chance to make money.

oddly the anime crowd , while MOST of them are broke.. often will scrape up the money for a corset.....
