so i originally had my red cross appointment for Monday....then whouseknecht pointed out that having a platelet donation RIGHT before my first belly dance class in (mumble) years might be a bad idea...so i rescheduled it for Wednesday.

Just think how fabulous that hot pink fuschia number will look against your dark hair!!! :p

I've just recently started working on some new handflowers to replace the ones that were stolen three years ago, cause I haven't danced since then and I need to get back into it myself. And every time I want to get my sparklies and jinglies out, I stop and go "Oh that's right, I CAN'T cause some arsefuckwit STOLE all my handflowers and zills and ..." and I get too depressed to do it.
I can replace the handflowers- that's fine. The Zills will be almost impossible to replace, as they were 1) the zills my sister K used when SHE danced, and 2) they were NOT the cheap stamped cr*p they are selling now, they were marked "India" and "Damascus", thicker, and had GREAT sound... :(

Color me FLOORED. When I first went looking to replace them years ago, I couldn't find anything even remotely close... This guy has several listings for them.

I know the owner of that shop--he's a good guy. Very reliable. Helped me out and brought my stuff home from Pennsic when i was in a pinch and had a car with a dead transmission.
