wild and wooly update

well i have been for the very first time to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival..... for one and a half hours, total.....

i was supposed to be at the Kutztown college's Renaissance Faire Saturday and Sunday, and i was there on Saturday.  I had a fun time and saw many of my old friends and met some lovely new folks (addicted two of them to BPAL

Hope your arthritis improves. You sound like you need to join the birds and fly south for the winter....

And an hour and a half at the festival does not sound long enough.

I was there almost all day.

All day would not have been enough.

My best-beloved was at the sheep and wool festival. You may have seen her. She's Chinese, with very long black hair worn parted in the middle and glasses.

i probably did... but to be honest it was a touch overwhelming.....

mostly i spent time saying hello to all the folks i knew. also i ran into some friends of mine in back in the day when i had a store.....

at least you went on Sunday, when the tourists had all gone home. on Saturday you couldn't get into a bunch of the stalls at all, it was that crowded..

I spent money both at journeywheels and at golding... Strangely enough, both on featherweight spindles... :)

i paid sheila of journeywheel for the Moosie she had mailed me.. it was a 20 gram featherweight.

sigh, it spins silk really really nicely! pity the arthritis blew up right that weekend, so i have been getting very little spin time in.
