Thank you. that means a lot to me, because River can be devilishly difficult to write.
It seems like only a quarter of her train of thought ever actually gets vocalized.

I also love dirty/sweaty Jayne. (as long as he has bathed recently...)
River pretending to be a sloth was too 'her' to pass up. (technically she should have been hanging upside down, but oh well.)

“The experience must be complete.” She intoned. “Understanding must be gained.”

She continued downward, watching him. None of the pretty-shiny on this boat was for him. He thought he was used to that, but sometimes, like now, it blindsided him.

I really enjoy deciphering River's comments while watching Jayne turn the words over in his own mind. They talk past each other so often that seeing them make connection in all the static is marvelous.
