Other than having a ridiculous amount of work, this week has been great. I'm Looking forward to a relaxing, non sketchy weekend at the beach! I have a problem trusting people. In general, people trust others until they break that initial trust that was given to them. I just don't trust people and then eventually that person just becomes another ( Read more... )

I feel like turst is something that through time develops in a relationship with somebody. Maybe I don't have a very realistic approach to trust. Possibly I am forgetting that people are sinful therefore making it impossible for them not to let me down. Perhaps it is me who needs to work on being vulnerable, so that people can see my character, my hurts, oys and fears. Some type of limited trust comes with knowledge and understanding of a person. However, I'm afraid I will always have some type of fear that people will let me down, therefore making me not want to open up to people at all if I am only going to be disappointed in the end...

you grow the most when you are outside of your comfort zone. God wants to help you grow now, you just have to recognize that and allow Him to work in you. perhaps He has put these thoughts about trust in your mind to challenge you. dont back down from that challenge
