PSA: Colorlines is online

For those who don't know about "Colorlines", I just wanted to mention that it's available online now. I wouldn't say it's a one-stop shop, but it's definitely a good site to have in your bookmarks.

At the very least, they give publicity to a lot of great grass-roots organizations that are putting in the hard yards.

The Ask a Mexican guy occasionally appears on a morning radio show I listen to at times. He kind of annoys me. He's often just as guilty of the kind of generalizations he's supposedly trying to correct. Or I don't know - maybe he's not trying that hard. Maybe I'm supposed to know with a nudge and a wink that he's for entertainment purposes only. :-P

Yeah, it's hard to know which parts are satire/entertainment, which parts are just laziness and which parts truly leave the door open for living-room supremacist re-interpretation.

It reminds me a little of the whole Dave Chappelle thing.
