2. NO BITCHASSNESS. I don't want to hear any complaints about how this game is being run wrong - why wasn't this show included? why isn't this character in the polls? There's no possible way I can include every single character from every single show to please every single person participating in this game, so SHUT IT DOWN.
3. NO FAKE JOURNALS. Any journals created during the dates of this or any previous game will not be counted in the results. Don't think I won't take the time to stop the game and count them all myself. I did it last year, I'll do it again. I'M BUYING ALL THE HOT DOGS AND GIVING THEM TO THE GOOD PEOPLE.
3a. I'm also not allowing anything that isn't Livejournal (Dreamwidth, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) because that's a slippery slope I don't even want to deal with. You can use them to participate in the comment sections but don't vote with them.

NOTE
1. I can't believe I have to say this, but DO NOT email or send private messages to people asking them to change their votes. Trust me when I say people will find this more annoying than convincing and it'll hurt your cause.
2. I AM NOT DELETING VOTES. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL WAY FOR ME TO DELETE VOTES. When I discount votes, all that means is that I keep a list and then subtract the number from the total on a piece of paper I keep at my desk. That is literally how low-tech this is, it's one step above running this entire game on an abacus. If you can't find your votes, it's because you're not looking in the right place. In the poll, click on the View Answers link. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and you'll see that there are multiple pages of votes. GO THROUGH ALL THOSE PAGES FOR YOUR NAME BEFORE YOU START ACCUSING ME OF SHIT.
3. I'M SERIOUS ABOUT NOT COUNTING FACEBOOK/TWITTER/DREAMWIDTH/BLOGSPOT VOTES. It's not enough to have any effect on the results, but what really pisses me off is that it's the same handful of people EVERY TIME. Which means you've been playing this game long enough to know that it's against the rules, yet you're still doing it. This is just a personal note to tell you how much I hate you.
