well despite some issues with the commercialism of the day, you know I will... but after this response last time not so sure bout posting one of my own... *S* but probably will anyway...
sighs and again, before its taken that way, no that wasnt posted to make you or anyone feel bad or guilty or whatever... just being honest and making comment is all... probably another one of those times I should have just moved on and let be, something i do struggle to do at times...
I know you weren't trying to make me feel bad, don't worry so much darling. *kiss* And you should have said something about it, it was a disappointment to you and I can see why, as I said, I don't know how I missed it because I made sure and filled out EVERYONE's stockings that I saw.
again, as I said the other day, its hard to bring something like that up without making people feel guilty, and/or making it look like your trying to make them feel guilty, and/or looking desparate and begging for attention...
v. fun idea. i'd do it, but so few of my friends check my lj (my own fault - not enough updating!), i doubt i'd get many v'tines, and then i'd be all sad.
my fave V day was when some friends threw a party just to show friend appreciation, complete with champagne and strawberries, plus sweet little magnets as party gifts. that's the spirit, eh?
that sounds like a great valentines day.... there is no reason it has to be about lovers, it should be about all sorts of love... friendship etc. great, great, great idea.
I thought it was a pretty sweet idea myself. I like the fact that you can't read your valentine's til the 14th, so everyday - the numbers grow - one hopes, and the anticipation grows. It is like having secret admirers, it is fun, silly, exciting and a nice way to just give someone something to smile about.
Life at the best of times leaves a lot to be desired. I like to spread some love where and when I can, I am sure there is a name for people like that... *cheeky grin*
Oh, and hello... are you travelling to me via the 'bubble tea' route?
That's what it's all about, smiles and silly gidiness, it's nice to appreciate those kind of things when you're an adult. So easy to lose that sort of feeling as I grow into an old misanthrope.
Yes, but side-stepping innuendo (Not easy for me, I assure you!) it's a damned good characteristic to have.
Hello there! Yes, I read it on the ol' London community. I don't live in London, but it holds good and grand memories for me.
