Today, for the second time, Livejournal fell under attack by hackers. It looks like this is more than just bored geeks; the story thus far is that it has to do with conflict between Armenia and Russia

Hey, on a lighter note...JEARS is looking for volunteers to sew cage covers for the rescued pets in Japan. Anyone who sews *cough* and who might be interested can check on JEARS Face book page and/or I will forward details as they become available. I have an email into Amy (from JEARS) as she was looking for volunteers today. She will be getting back to us later. They are evacuating the next ring of people around Fukushima and most of those folks will have to find a place to board their animals until they can find new permanent accommodations.
The covers help to keep pets warm if they have to stay outside and are very helpful in lowering stress levels in areas where many animals are housed together in close quarters. Privacy Please!
