Oh, it's at Earthdance! I love it. We went to many music festivals at Black Oak Ranch back in the day (Wavy Gravy's commune, among other things) but I haven't made it to an Earthdance yet. It's amazing, the whole hooping community, which I remember seeing at Dead shows but I think really blossomed at String Cheese Incident shows. She is really really good! It's so fun to watch her!
Last year for our anniversary I took Evan to Teatro Zinzanni, and one guy on the cast at the time was the former hula hoop champion of the world. He did all kinds of crazy stuff like this and then ended up with maybe 50 hula hoops all over his body, from his eyebrows to his ankles and all the way down both outstretched arms to the fingertips. He was just doing these tiny wiggling motions by then. It was amazing. I can't even keep a hula hoop going around my waist, LOL.
I so enjoyed this. I love watching people have a great time, moving so playfully! I wonder if you already have to be a dancer to be able to hula hoop so well.

I can't either! I have a weighted exercise hoop, and Im horrible with it. Maybe in my next life! :)
