Years ago, a (mashed and tripping) young Crispian worked his way to the front of the crowd at a Cardiacs gig and started shouting "PICK A TIME SIGNATURE AND STICK TO IT!!" at Tim Smith.

(Unsurprisingly, he was subsequently ejected from the venue.)
