I've thought about applying at Aldi's, but I can do my homework at my work and it's a good job to have while I'm in school...but the money is sooo tempting...

lol i filled out the app today. I mean maybe i won't work there anytime soon, but it sounds like a SWEET deal to work there while i go back to get the Masters and only have time to work part-time. Maybe the catch is you have to sell your soul to them or something? lol who knows, but it doesnt sound like a hard job for what they pay!

We rent our house (well, half a duplex--3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, front porch, basement and attic) for $525 a month which includes water but not utilities. If you haven't already, make sure to check Craigslist for apartments/housing...I have to believe there's something better and cheaper out there!

thats an awesome deal! Not to pry, but whereabout do you live in the area? Ive found it can vary so much across the board depending on the area. Craigslist has been our best friend lately and there's cheap (but still decent and nice) places out there if you just look. Some of the people though charged so much, one guy told Eric $700/month for a small 1 bedroom, no utilities and no parking but he'd have "so much fun," which he kept repeating over and over again. Lol eric was like well number ) i'm not single and 2) I dont go to bars and 3) i'm not crazy enough to pay that!! lol.

my studio was 510 a month not including utilities. insane. then again, i lived on meigs and east and had off street parking. look in the swillburg, south wedge, and oxford/monroe neighborhoods. you're not going to find the best "safety" measures and sometimes the people are a bit sketchy, but you'll find the price goes down. i lived in two of those areas, and found it to be fine for me.
