So, here's the thing. I had a wonderful birthday. Sending out more birthday thanks to sandy_s and rikki_oko for lovely, and generous gifts! I love you girls!

There I was basking in the afterglow of birthday happiness, and my car decides to have a massive breakdown. A very expensive, massive, breakdown involving exhaust manifolds, and catalytic converters. *

That was before the "sweet" smell started. Now that it has, I've decided that we are not going to work in that building until it's cleaned.

Mold is very, very dangerous so make sure that the building is completely cleaned before any of you go back and work there. Petzi Sis got deathly ill from a black mold infested building.

I've also known someone who became deathly ill from mold in their home. They started removing the carpeting today, so at least the cleaning has finally started.

I'm sorry to hear your sis had to deal with that issue. I know it's awful.

Bad, bad universe! Sorry about the car. (Which reminds me that our "check engine" light went off, and I'm supposed to fix something that begins with a "c" - Pooh, I've already forgotten; actually, I'd forgotten I needed to take the car in for repairs until I read your post.)

I'm very allergic to mold--so very unhealthy for you. Hope you get it all cleaned up soon. And insurance pays.

Mold is just gross, and I've always had a puny respiratory system, so I'm staying far, far away. They began removing the carpet today, so at least the clean up has begun, and none too soon!
