I've been missing you, so here I am. :)
I've gotten tons of house/yard stuff accomplished, but of course there's always more to do. HGTV is a dangerous thing. It keeps giving me ideas, and stuff!!! Hubby and I planted grass (yes, AGAIN), landscaped the baby dog's yard, painted the shutters a nice taupe (they were hunter green), planted azaleas,

Ooo. S'no fun having to go through the retraining process. I hope you find the perfect assistant quickly, with minimal angst. *crosses fingers*

Will have to send pics to you of the path as soon as polleny crap stops falling everywhere making it look bad. :D
Oooo!! I need to send you back the traveling thumb drive!! Keep forgetting, so sorry hon!
Yeah, not jumping for joy on having to retrain someone. I like the comfort-zone of having someone in place that knows the ropes.
Puppy! Makes it fun!

I know what you mean about the dog yard thing. This year hubby and I finally tackled The Baby Dog's fenced-in yard. We had areas that just refused to grow grass, stayed damp, and gross! So instead of planting grass in those areas, we put in borders and mulched. I planted some small shrubs and a couple of trees, we laid in a wide flagstone path and then the little bit that was left we planted w/grass. The grass isn't taking off like crazy, but I think eventually...it'll fill in. One good thing, the doggies tend to do their business on the large mulched areas which makes for easier clean up and safer walking for us! ;)
I'm lucky in the way that my dogs don't dig, looks like you have to stay on top re-seeding with your mischevious baby!
Glad to hear that my gardening posts inspire you! Yay!
*hugs you*

I was shocked about Tony! I have to admit I never saw that one coming. I'm so naive!
