ZOMG.

Squeeage ensues. :D

I really, really, enjoyed tonight's episode. The case they worked on had a supernatural twist to it, which made it interesting. I liked the suspense of a tracking a vamp serial killer. The villian turned out to be an angst-ridden 200 year old teenage boy-vamp with really bad skin, but I liked the work up to finding him. Plus, the ( Read more... )

I like Mick and Josef. Their interaction with Beth was priceless, and I want to see more. I'm just concerned that maybe the show is moving the relationship with Mick and Beth together too quickly. I'd like to prolong this phase.

I'm thinking that since the original order was for only 13 episodes, they may have sped up the relationship to make it fit that time frame.

Normally, I'd like it to be more drawn out too, but for some reason the pace isn't bothering me here at all. That really is unusual for me. :)

Yeah, however like Joss the writers can't add - if he's 200 how could he have a photograph - photographs didn't get common until the mid to late 1800s.
Beth chases him down and berates him for not saying goodbye. He promptly rectifies it like a good vampire, and Beth sneaks in a quick kiss on him when he's saying "good.." which was so funny because his lips were pursed at the moment of speaking. He looks stunned, bewildered, like he's forgotten to breathe, and she breaks off the kiss and he says lamely. "...bye?" Adorable, I tell you!
Yup, she's got him all confuzzled. Now I bet he's really going to be hiding from her.

Research about simple facts like that should be a staple for writers. However, I must admit, it completely slipped by me, as I was apparently in Mick's thrall. :P

It will be interesting to see how he reacts to her now, no doubt. :D

I am really hoping they keep this one around so we can continue to see where it goes. I am (liked we talked about) excited about the next one too. Very encouraging. And I am still amused at my phone ringing as I am hobbling to bed and you yelling "Ican'thelpit!Iamabouttoblowup!!!OMG!Squeeeee!"
