Hello ladies! For those of you who use Revlon Colorstay foundation, what method do you use to apply it? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on whether or not the MAC 187 is good for it. I really want to buy the 187 but I'm not going to spend 45$ if it doesn't blend my foundation.

brands: revlon, product help, foundations, brands: mac, brushes

good things have been said about the sigma duo fiber, also. i own the cheaper studio whatever brand from target's duo fiber, and i use it for setting powder foundation with fix+.

also, i freaking love the elf flat top brush, but i've only used it with powder. unsure how it would work with liquid. so maybe elf might have something comparable in one of their nicer lines?

although i must admit that recently i've found using clean hands applies liquid foundation and tinted moisturizer much better, much more evenly, etc., for free! :)

Another vote for hand-applying! When I used liquids, I tried a ton of brushes and never got it as even as I could with fingers. (Now I use bareMinerals with their brushes so IDK anymore. :-p)

Again from Target, Studio Tools makes a stippling/duo fiber brush that I prefer over the Sonia Kashuk one just a little bit because its stiffer. It retails at around 6 dollars and can usually be found close to where the tweezers/nail stuff/false eyelashes stuff are.

i use my fingers and it works very well. the warmth makes it blend and glide on better into my skin.

I pour it onto a plastic sandwich baggy so it doesn't dry up and use a damp sponge and pat it on, not spread it or w/e. Mind you, i've never used a brush before so I can't really compare but I think the sponge does a good job and that way you can layer up the coverage to your liking.
