SO.. i'm probably the last one to see this gorgeous sucker. but someone's finally duped the Ben Nye palette and threw in another 12 shadows as a bonus

I don't want to support a company that simply copies another one. I feel the same way about Sigma and their brushes.
Of course, there will always be cheap dupes of expensive products and companies will always "inspire" each other, but if the cheap brands don't even have enough creativity to think of different names, I think they're just taking advantage of the more expensice brand's popularity.
It's like buying a cheap copy of a Louis Vuitton bag...

I have the palette you're talking about - I never reach for it because 1 - the shadows are really soft, like they crumble in the pan really easy and if you're one that drops stuff you will fuck up the shadows fast. 2 - they are not that great, just really shimmery. the matte shadows have very little pay off. 3 - i have the ben nye palette already and I don't even use that palette much (but not for the same reasons, the ben nye is very good quality) so maybe I'm biased.
