Hi Everyone

Hope this is okay, If not delete it.

I'm looking for a black mascara with either a purple or dark blue tinge to it. I have looked in all the shops and had a bit of a search on google and didn't find what I was looking for.

Does anyone know of a brand that makes something like what I'm looking for?

mascara

Also, if it's too blue for you, you can apply one coat over your black mascara and it's barely noticeable, but still there.

^ Max Factor Vivid Impact highlighting mascaras are brilliant. =D

You may have to mix and match, though. =/
The one I use is black with a pink highlighter, which happens to suit me.
When I started looking for them, though, I wanted a black/blue one also.
I believe the only blue they have is the mascara itself, which has a pink highlighter. =/ The black combinations are black/pink and black/gray.

However...
I would assume that if you just picked up your regular mascara and applied pigments to it, you should get the same effect. (Just be careful not to overdo it so it doesn't look caked on.)

Speaking of Max Factor...

Doesn't CoverGirl also have a pigmented mascara ?
I've never used it, but it's called Eyelights or something.
I saw it on television, I think.

I don't really think that one's a "pick-your-poison" one, it's meant to enhance your eye color. I doubt they require you to buy based by eye color, though. ;) Just not sure if the effect is there when your eye color doesn't match, I'm not sure how that one works.

That is a really good idea, if you had a navy or dark purple pigment you could dust it on to wet black mascara...genius! Haven't seen it done before tho.

Or you just stick purple eyeshadow or pigment to your (freshly applied) mascara.

Covergirl has a mascara called eyelights. I got the one called black sapphire. It started out pretty black at first but has gotten to be quite blue the more I use it. And more sparkly...

Almay makes a purple one that dries almost black.
