mineral eyeshadows

Feb 27, 2009 15:49

I have a huge question. I use mineral eyeshadow from About Face cosmetics. The only issues I am having is dealing with the fall out because they are not pressed. I have tried putting powder under my eyes and then dust it off but it just seems to spread. Any suggestions would be appreicated!

Using a patting motion to apply rather than a swiping motion will help. Also making sure your applying them to something sticky will also help, like a cream shadow base or one applied wet. The only way to completely ensure no fallout ruins your foundation/face makeup is to do your eyes first.

List :)

Apply eyes first
on a sticky base or with mixing medium
patting motions
and don't forget oldie but goldie - take off an excess!

You can get little makeup remover pads and just wipe it away after you're done. I like the Almay ones in the travel section at Target for 15/$1. Or you can just put some makeup remover on a tissue! This, of course, only works if you do your eyes first ;-)

What they said ;~) and with loose shadows of any kind esp minerals make sure you pack it into your brush. FaceFront has a great primer too ;~)

Okay. I will have to check that out. I do use a primer from about face as well and foil my pigments but thanks for the suggestions
