I highly highly highly recommend Mac's Carbon. It is the blackest black that ever blackity blacked.

Seriously, it sits in my palette, which is matte black, and sometimes I don't even see it because it is so very black.

The color payoff, especially over a primer, is amazing, it blends well, and is totally glam.

Well worth the ten bucks it will cost you in a palette pan at the Mac store/counter.

If you don't want or can't afford MAC's Crabon or their Dark Soul pigment (both awesome blacks), I HIGHLY recommend "Clubbing" by Jane. It's drugstore and, IMO, there's not a difference between it and Carbon. Might even be more blendable than Carbon. Costs 1.99 at most.

ITAWTC. Clubbing is pretty much amazing and you won't feel guilty at all for purchasing it. I <3 Jane.

definately try carbon or dark soul pigment, you won't regret it! i also think black tied is a fun one, it's from mac and it has like silver/white sparkles in it.

I have to second Milani shadows. I've loved how they've worn and blended.
